Privacy notice

1. This website
sainsei.com is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, embeds no third-party content and loads no external fonts. It runs no JavaScript at all.
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. as our hosting provider. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, user agent and requested URL) to deliver the page and protect it against abuse. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors. Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
When you email us at hello@sainsei.com, we use your message and address only to answer you and keep the correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose.
2. The Sainsei app and barometer
For the Sainsei app, your employer is the controller and Sainsei acts as processor under a data processing agreement (DPA). The key commitments:
- All app data is processed and stored in the EU; AI processing uses an EU endpoint.
- Your login proves that you may take part; your answers are stored by a separate response service that never receives your account, email address, device ID or IP address (blind-signed tokens, RFC 9474).
- Your employer sees aggregated results only: no numbers for groups under 5, no open-text themes for groups under 8. Quotes are paraphrased and stripped of identifying details.
- Voice is transcribed during the session and the audio is never stored. We do not analyse tone, emotion or voiceprint.
- Retention: survey responses 3 years; raw AI transcripts deleted 30 days after coding; aggregated results kept.
- Participation is voluntary. The legal basis is your employer's legitimate interest, not consent.
The full app privacy notice, the DPA and the subprocessor list are available in the app and on request.
3. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. For app data, contact your employer first (the controller); we will assist them. Because answers are stored without any link to your identity, we cannot retrieve or delete a specific person's barometer answers — that is the point of the design. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Belgium: the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).
